The Accountability Court in Rawalpindi declined Imran Khan’s request for additional physical remand, opting instead to send him to jail on judicial remand.
During the hearing presided over by Accountability Court Islamabad Judge Muhammad Bashir at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, NAB officials sought an extension for Imran Khan’s physical remand in the 190 million pound case.
However, the court dismissed the plea for extended physical remand, directing the PTI Chairman to be held in jail for a 14-day judicial remand. Imran Khan has been instructed to appear in court again on December 19 and to provide NAB with the challan related to the 190 million pound case.
It’s important to note that Imran Khan was arrested by NAB in connection to the 190 million pound case, and the government has given the green light for his trial to take place while in jail.
