348 kg of drugs were recovered in ANF operations.


In various operations, the Anti-Narcotics Force seized a total of 348 kilograms of narcotics, continuing their nationwide crackdown on drug trafficking. These operations led to the arrest of an individual involved in these activities.

At Allama Iqbal International Airport, 36 capsules containing methamphetamine were found concealed in a passenger’s stomach as they attempted to board a flight to Doha (QR-0621).

In Mirjanzai village of Pishin, a house was raided resulting in the discovery of 312 kilograms of opium. Additionally, 26 kilograms of hashish were seized from Zakhakhel Khyber, and 7.2 kilograms from Dera Ismail Khan.

Furthermore, a parcel destined for Kohat, weighing 3.3 kilograms and containing methamphetamine, was intercepted at a courier office in Gulbarg 3, Lahore. The arrested individual faces charges under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and investigations into these incidents are underway.
