4 students studying in Madrasa in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa drowned while bathing in a pond. According to Rescue 1122, the incident took place on Friday in the Kumbar Maidan area of Lower Dir district.
After receiving the information, the rescue team reached the scene and the diving team took out the four drowned children and transferred them to the local hospital.
The hospital administration confirmed the death of the children and said that Abu Bakr, Fayyaz, Zaid and Abdul Rehman are among the dead, whose ages are said to be between 10 and 12 years.
According to the local people, the children were bathing in the pond on a holiday, they did not know how to fast, hence this sad incident took place.
It should be noted that on January 29, 10 children also drowned in the boat sinking incident in Kohat Tanda Dam.
