Judge Nasir Javed Rana from the Accountability Court in Islamabad dismissed Fawad Chaudhry’s bail plea regarding corruption allegations linked to the Jhelum development project.
During the court proceedings, the NAB prosecutor urged the rejection of the bail, citing collusion between Fawad Chaudhry and the contractor in corrupt practices.
Faisal Chaudhry, representing Fawad, contended that he had purchased the concerned land but was never summoned during NAB’s investigation. Following deliberation, the court denied Fawad Chaudhry’s bail request.
