
Ali Muhammad Khan and Shirafazl Marwat, leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), made a striking entrance into the assembly carrying a mask resembling that of Imran Khan, the founder of PTI.
The inaugural session of the National Assembly, overseen by Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf, witnessed protest from PTI leaders Ali Muhammad Khan and Sher Afzal Khan, who wore masks resembling Imran Khan.
During the session, independent members aligned with PTI entered the House brandishing PTI flags and chanting slogans. Some members, backed by PTI, climbed onto the Speaker’s seat and voiced support for Imran Khan. Additionally, newly elected members took their oaths during the assembly proceedings.
