Former Commissioner of Rawalpindi, Liaquat Ali Chatta, who is accused of electoral fraud, was summoned to court.
The case against Liaquat Ali Chatta was heard by Additional Sessions Judge Hakim Khan. The court directed the police to locate and present Liaquat Ali Chatta at a later date.
The Rawalpindi Police provided an update to the court, stating that Liaquat Ali Chatta has been evading authorities and is not currently at his residence in Hafizabad. The hearing was adjourned with further orders issued.
Additionally, lawyers have submitted a 22A application to initiate legal proceedings against Liaquat Ali Chatta.
