Internationally, the price of gold per ounce rose by $47, reaching a new high of $2,225.
Locally, the price of gold per tola increased by 4600 rupees, bringing it to 2 lakh 32 thousand 400 rupees per tola. Similarly, there was a rise of 3 thousand 943 rupees in the price of gold per 10 grams, now standing at 1 lakh 99 thousand 245 rupees.
