The Islamabad High Court has granted approval for the transfer of Parvez Elahi, former Punjab Chief Minister and PTI leader, from jail to either a hospital or his residence.
The court instructed the Ministry of Interior to finalize the process of placing Parvez Elahi under house arrest within 15 days. Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir delivered a favorable ruling on Qaisara Elahi’s plea, directing that Parvez Elahi be provided medical facilities as per his preferences.
