In Islamabad, the body of a missing young person was discovered in a hazardous trench along the Margalla Trail, a popular tourist destination in the capital.
Following an extensive search operation for the missing individual, authorities located the body in the perilous trench. It is suspected that the youth veered off course and accidentally fell into the trench. The police have initiated an investigation into the incident, aiming to thoroughly explore all potential angles following a post-mortem examination.
Earlier, Maimoona Jabin, a resident of Gulzar Quaid Rawalpindi, visited various law enforcement agencies, including Rescue 15 and the relevant police station, to report the disappearance of the youth. The individual had set out for a hiking excursion on trail five from their residence but failed to return, while their companions safely made it back home.
According to Maimoona Jabin, she believes her son was abducted by unidentified individuals. Despite efforts by the newly established Patrol Police Margalla Unit of the Federal Police and local law enforcement, the alleged abduction victim could not be located. Subsequently, a case was filed, and during the search operation, the body of the young man was discovered in the trench.
