In Islamabad, Khawar Manika has voiced her lack of faith in the judge overseeing the marital case involving the founder chairman of PTI, Imran Khan.
The verdict, pending from District and Sessions Judge Shahrukh Arjamand regarding the appeal against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi’s sentence, is scheduled for today. Present at the court were the petitioner’s attorneys Rizwan Abbasi and Khawar Manika.
During the proceedings, Khawar Manika conveyed her reservations, stating, “I would prefer if you abstain from delivering a verdict. I believe external influences may have affected your judgment, therefore, it would be prudent not to proceed.” Moreover, Khawar Manika requested a change in legal representation and expressed her distrust in the judge’s impartiality.
