
ISLAMABAD: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a loan of 320 million dollars for Pakistan, the money will be used for the rehabilitation of roads in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to ADB, the loan will increase all-weather safe connectivity in rural areas and upgrade 900 kilometers of roads.
These roads will be used to connect the backward classes in health and education, this development of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will also benefit other parts of the country.
The Asian Development Bank says that climate change has caused a lot of damage in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, with infrastructure problems and diseases affecting people’s lives.
The project will provide financial and technical support while also enabling the government to repair the damages caused by landslides, improving the contract system for road maintenance and tourism.
