
After the Indian team refused to come to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy, Pakistan and India have been put in the same group in the Women’s U-19 Asia Cup cricket tournament.
The arch-rivals will compete in the Asian event scheduled in Malaysia next month, where Nepal has also been placed in Group A along with Pakistan and India.
The tournament will be played at the Biomass Cricket Oval in Malaysia from December 15 to 22, and the event will prove to be an important training opportunity for the 2025 ICC Women’s U-19 T20 World Cup.
The first match of the tournament will be played between Sri Lanka and Malaysia, on the same day, arch-rivals Pakistan and India will also compete.
