A teacher who taught poor children for free in a hut school in Awaran district of Balochistan committed suicide after being harassed. The police have registered a case against 3 people including the Levies official.
The entire area is mourning the death of Astani Najma Baloch, who gifted free education to poor children in Gishkor area of Awaran.
The police registered a case against 3 persons including the Levies official on the request of the relatives.
Najma Baloch’s family alleged that their daughter was being harassed by Levies officials and their two associates for a long time, fed up with which she committed suicide.
Najma Baloch’s mother says that the accused used to come and threaten you, they will pick you up and kill you, the daughter said that it is better to die in the grave than to fall at your feet, there was no other way for my daughter.
According to Assistant Commissioner Awaran, investigation into the suicide incident has started. Formation of inquiry committee by suspending concerned Levies official has been given. Police have arrested one accused while the search for the other two is on.
