Ice heroin was recovered from a passenger going to Sharjah from Pakistan at Faisalabad Airport. The ASF personnel recovered the drugs from the passenger’s bag while searching the luggage.
The spokesman said that a passenger named Ashraf Ali was carrying 2 boxes of Sohan Halwa in his bag from Pakistan to Sharjah.
On searching, it was found that Sohan had skillfully hidden drugs under the layer of halwa. The spokesman further said that after preliminary investigation, the accused was handed over to the authorities of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) for legal action along with the drugs.
