California: Tech giant Meta’s subsidiary WhatsApp has introduced a voice status update feature. Using this feature, users will be able to record voice notes and share them as status.
WhatsApp users can go to the status box and press the pencil tab to share the voice note status with the help of the mic icon that appears next to the text boxes.
Users cannot share statuses longer than 30 seconds. Users also have the option to decide who can and cannot hear their voice status.
Previously, you had to manually select people by going to the status view and non-viewer settings, and this applied to all statuses. Now the private audio selector can be selected for specific statuses, which will bring great convenience to users.
