According to the spokesperson of Utility Stores, the Utility Stores Corporation of Pakistan has reduced the prices of subsidized ghee provided under the Prime Minister’s Relief Package, for which a formal notification has also been issued.
According to the notification, the price of subsidized ghee has been reduced by Rs 80 per kg at all stores across the country.
Subsidized ghee, which was earlier being sold at Rs 490 per kg, will be available at Rs 410 per kg from June 7.
Ghee will be provided at Rs 300 per kg for registered users under Benazir Income Support Program.
It should be noted that the Utility Stores Corporation is providing special subsidy on basic commodities (flour, sugar, ghee, rice, pulses) under the Prime Minister’s Relief Package.
