Riyadh: Iran’s embassy in Saudi Arabia reopened after 7 years. According to foreign media, Iran’s new ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ali Reza Inayati, also participated in the re-opening ceremony of Iran’s embassy.
He was announced as ambassador last month. Saudi Arabia has not yet announced the date and ambassador to reopen its embassy in Tehran.
Diplomatic relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia were restored in March this year. China played a mediating role in the restoration of relations.
