Advisor to caretaker Punjab government on sports, fast bowler Wahab Riaz has said that he has no intention of contesting regular elections at present.
Speaking to the media on the arrival of DHA Cricket Ghani Institute, Sports Adviser Wahab Riaz said that I had said earlier that if given an opportunity,
I will show my skills in this field (politics) too, but now my MPA and MNA. There is no intention to contest elections. Wahab Riaz said that likes and dislikes have been going on in cricket since the beginning, a cricketer should not be worried about it, nor can the path of any cricketer be stopped on this basis.
He said that the government alone cannot do anything to fix every sector, we all have to take responsibility together.
Mushir Khel added that various sports are being promoted at the government level, now we need people at the grassroots level who will lend a hand in taking it forward.
Wahab Riaz said that when he used to play cricket There were no facilities in club cricket during that period.
According to Sports Advisor Punjab, DHA has provided the best facilities to the club cricketers. Wahab Riaz said that he is sure that many youngsters will get an opportunity to come forward from this club.
