California: Meta, the company that owns social networking platform Facebook, has introduced a music-making tool with artificial intelligence.
The tool, called MusicGen, is capable of converting text into 12-second audio. While this device can also be directed with the help of a muffled audio i.e. a song.
Meta says that Music Gene has 20,000 hours of musical training. This music includes 10,000 high-quality licensed music tracks and 390,000 instrumental tracks from Shutterstock and £5.
The company has not provided the code using which the model is trained, but the company has made available pre-trained models that can be used with the correct hardware.
