Pakistani drama industry actress and model Sara Neelam has apologized for her derogatory statement about overseas Pakistanis during a show.
Sarah Neelam has apologized to the overseas Pakistanis for her statement by releasing a video statement on her photo and video sharing account Instagram.
The actress said in her video message that a few days ago I participated in a private TV comedy show, some clips of which have gone viral, my statement has caused a lot of pain to my overseas siblings. The intention was not to offend anyone at all.
Sarah Neelam said comedy shows are pre-planned and I was also told that if something looks bad, it’s a joke, don’t take it seriously.
But I didn’t know that my words would hurt people so much. The actress further said in her video statement that not to people I know how much his comments against me have hurt me and I am mentally disturbed.
Sarah Neelam in the caption written along with her video statement further said that humans make mistakes, Allah also forgives mistakes, so you can also forgive them. Addressing the social media users, he further said that you guys don’t know how many problems I am facing, my family is also worried with me, I am from a respectable family, I hope you guys will forgive me.
It should be noted that the host of the comedy show aired on private TV yesterday, actor Wasay Chaudhry also apologized to the overseas Pakistanis.
He admitted the mistake in a message on micro-blogging site Twitter and apologized publicly on behalf of his entire team. In his tweets, while appreciating the services and sacrifices of Pakistanis living abroad, he wrote that the mistakes are his own.
