Islamabad High Court granted interim bail to Asad Umar and Shah Mehmood Qureshi. Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir heard the bail application in the case of Tarnool police station in Islamabad.
The Supreme Court stopped the police from arresting Asad Umar and Shah Mehmood Qureshi. The Islamabad High Court also sought records from the police till July 10.
The Supreme Court granted interim bail to Asad Umar and Shah Mehmood Qureshi against a bond of Rs. Both the leaders had filed anticipatory bail applications in the case related to the May 9 incidents.
The session court had rejected the bail of Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Asad Umar 3 days ago. After which Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Asad Umar took bail from Peshawar High Court yesterday.
