Karachi: LPG Industries has announced a strike for non-sale of LPG at the fixed official price. Chairman LPG Industries Association Karachi Irfan Khokhar has said that there will be a shutter down strike across the country from August 5.
He said that LPG is not being sold anywhere in the country at the fixed official price, due to black marketing, LPG is being sold at high prices from Karachi to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. 220 to 350 rupees per kg of LPG is being sold, while the local gas company is selling 1 lakh rupees per tonne of LPG.
