The two countries have signed significant documents aimed at fostering greater economic cooperation. They plan to proceed with the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) using a new business-to-business model, focusing on investments, agriculture, and IT.
The goal is to enable Pakistan to export its products in line with Chinese government standards and requirements. Shahbaz Sharif expressed gratitude to Xi Jinping for sending the Deputy Prime Minister of China as a special ambassador to Pakistan, emphasizing the unique and enduring friendship between the two nations.
A ceremony was held at the Prime Minister’s House to sign various memorandums of understanding, attended by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and the Deputy Prime Minister of China.
