Iram Mohmand, the daughter of the late SSP Sajid Khan Mohmand, has made history by becoming the first woman from the Mohmand tribal district to join the Balochistan Police Force as a Sub-Inspector. Her father, SSP Sajid Khan Mohmand, tragically lost his life in a terrorist suicide attack in Chaman, Balochistan, back in July 2017. He held various high-ranking positions within the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, demonstrating his dedication to duty.
On the occasion of Police Martyrs’ Day, Iram Mohmand expressed her pride in following in her brave father’s footsteps. She has admired him since childhood and witnessed his unwavering commitment to serving in challenging environments. Iram Mohmand is determined to continue her father’s mission and uphold his spirit of patriotism, never hesitating to defend her country.
Believing that women can excel in community policing, Iram Mohmand has taken up the challenge to serve in the Balochistan Police Force. With a B.Sc degree from Peshawar University, she is determined to make her family and tribal district of Mohmand proud with her brave decision to join the force.
