Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi has announced the convening of a core committee meeting in response to the arrest of Imran Khan. Qureshi emphasized that while peaceful protest is a fundamental right, damaging government property and resorting to lawlessness is unacceptable.
In a video message following Imran Khan’s arrest and conviction in the Tosha Khana Case, Shah Mahmood Qureshi expressed his rejection of the court decision and vowed to continue the struggle for the release of the PTI Chairman. He confirmed that the core committee would hold a meeting to devise a future plan of action.
Qureshi reiterated that protesting constitutionally and legally is within their rights, but they must refrain from taking the law into their own hands or causing harm to government property.
