Islamabad’s Supreme Court has ruled the Review of Judgment and Orders Act 2023 as unconstitutional in a unanimous decision.
The court held that the authority to enact such legislation does not lie within the jurisdiction of Parliament. Justice Muneeb Akhtar’s separate commentary also aligns with this concurring judgment.
