Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has issued a response regarding the recent controversy linked to Chairman PTI’s wife, Bushra Bibi.
According to the PTI Spokesperson, they categorically reject the alleged diary and its contents, asserting that Bushra Bibi is not associated with it in any way.
The PTI representative emphasized that neither the diary nor its writings can be attributed to Imran Khan or his wife. They view this entire episode as a futile attempt to shift focus away from Pakistan’s genuine issues, including concerns about government actions, authoritarianism, and adherence to the constitution and laws.
Undeterred by any number of schemes, the PTI spokesperson maintained that those involved in these conspiracies will ultimately be held accountable before the law.
Meanwhile, PTI leader Farrukh Habib took to Twitter to clarify that the diary was not among the items seized by the police from Zaman Park. He also highlighted that their legal team had not reported on the existence of any such diary.
Stressing that Bushra Bibi is a homemaker and not involved in politics, Farrukh Habib expressed his disappointment at the ongoing speculation surrounding her. He urged the media to refrain from disseminating baseless and manipulated information and called for an end to the unwarranted focus on Bushra Bibi’s role.
In summary, PTI has strongly disavowed any connection between Bushra Bibi and the alleged diary, labeling the situation an orchestrated distraction from Pakistan’s significant challenges. They remain resolute in their belief that those attempting to manipulate the situation will eventually face legal consequences. Additionally, PTI leader Farrukh Habib called for responsible reporting and an end to the unfounded portrayal of Bushra Bibi.
