
Islamabad: Renowned Pakistani singer Asad Abbas has passed away due to complications arising from kidney failure.
Reports indicate that Asad Abbas had been battling kidney disease for an extended period, with ongoing medical treatment. His family has officially confirmed his unfortunate demise.
Previously, actor Adnan Siddiqui had made an appeal for Asad Abbas’s medical treatment, and a viral video featured singer Asad Umar discussing his illness in detail.
Mohsin Naqvi, the Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab, has expressed his deep sorrow and condolences over Asad Abbas’s passing. He conveyed his shock and prayed for Asad Abbas’s soul to find eternal peace, while also urging strength for the grieving family.
Likewise, Aamir Mir, the Provincial Minister of Information and Culture, has also conveyed his sadness at the loss of singer Asad Abbas. Mir acknowledged that the departed artist achieved fame at a young age and highlighted the government’s efforts to support his medical treatment. He assured the family of their solidarity during this difficult period of mourning.
