Lahore: Legal proceedings have commenced against four individuals, including Hamad Azhar, in the Gulberg arson case as of May 9th.
Acting upon the request of the Gulberg police station, the court has initiated action against Hammad Azhar, Ghulam Abbas, Ali Abbas, and Sarmad Malik. The request was heard by Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Ijaz Ahmed Butar. The police’s stance in the petition was that despite several attempts to apprehend the accused, they remain at large due to the fear of arrest. The police requested the court to authorize the initiation of public proceedings against the suspects.
