In the Colombo-based match, Bangladesh’s skipper, Shakib Al Hasan, had the winning toss and chose to commence the game by fielding.
Shakib Al Hasan mentioned that there was a modification in their lineup, with Nasum Ahmed replacing Afif Hussain in the starting XI.
In response to the situation, Sri Lankan captain Dasan Shanaka expressed that he would have preferred to win the toss and bat first, given the cloudy conditions, but he aims to put up a strong performance.
