In Lahore, the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) probing the May 9 tragedy has concluded its inquiry into 14 cases, with PTI Chairman Imran Khan being implicated in ten of them.
As per Express News reports, the JIT, which was investigating cases related to the incident involving Nomai, has wrapped up its investigation encompassing these 14 cases. According to JIT sources, the primary case against Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaaf, registered as challan 96/23, spans over two thousand pages and includes more than four hundred pieces of social media evidence that incriminate Chairman PTI.
JIT officials have noted that the statements of 80 suspects directly linked to the Jinnah House attack indicate a conspiracy element, and during the investigation into the May 9 events, concrete evidence of direct conspiracy was discovered. It was found that Chairman PTI’s statements were inconsistent with the prevailing circumstances. According to JIT findings, Chairman PTI has been found guilty in nine additional cases based on solid evidence. The submission of challans for all fourteen cases to the court is expected to take place soon.
