In Islamabad, following the reversal of the NAB amendments, a new case has been initiated against former finance minister Ishaq Dar for having assets that surpass his declared income.
Former finance minister Ishaq Dar has been summoned to appear before the accountability court on October 10. The summons were officially issued to Ishaq Dar on the aforementioned date.
The directive for this action was given by Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Bashir.
The case against Ishaq Dar, pertaining to assets exceeding his income, had been closed by the Accountability Court due to changes in the NAB Ordinance. The case records were already in the possession of the accountability court.
