In Rawalpindi, the ongoing trial of the cipher case involves the former Chairman of PTI, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, being heard by Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain in a special court established under the Official Secrets Act at Adiala Jail.
Both Qureshi and the former PTI chairman are present in the courtroom. Today, the accused will receive copies of the cipher case charges, as per the court’s proceedings. Notably, the Ministry of Interior had previously issued a notification for the jail trial against the former Prime Minister, Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, and former Foreign Minister.
