In Islamabad, the Special Official Secrets Act Court has scheduled the indictment of the ex-chairman of PTI and Shah Mahmood Qureshi in the cipher case for December 12. The court, following the High Court’s directive to conclude the trial within a month, aims to move swiftly.
Former Chairman PTI and Shah Mehmood Qureshi have received copies of the charges, with a future date set for filing them. Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain presided over the one-and-a-half-hour hearing on the cipher case, during which it was mentioned that the former prime minister and foreign minister were found guilty in connection with the cipher case.
