It has been 100 days since Israel initiated an attack on Gaza, prompting the White House’s national security adviser to call on Israel to cease its ongoing assaults.
John Kirby, the National Security Spokesman, emphasized the need to end Israel’s conflict with Hamas during a media briefing. While Israel has expressed intentions to reduce the intensity of its attacks, the United Nations agency highlighted the severe challenges faced by Gazan citizens, equating 100 days to a century of hardship.
Protests against Israel’s actions took place in various global cities, including London, where thousands demonstrated against what they perceive as Israel’s brutal treatment of Palestinians. The demand echoed worldwide for an immediate cessation of Israel’s attacks on innocent Palestinians.
The toll from Israel’s offensive on Gaza has been devastating, with over 23,000 Palestinians, including numerous children, losing their lives, and more than 50,000 sustaining injuries.
