The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has called in several journalists and social media activists to inquire about their involvement in a campaign against judges.
News reports that progress has been made in the case related to Hazara Sarai, where individuals have been accused of targeting judges and institutions on social media.
The FIA cyber wing has issued notices to individuals running negative campaigns against judges, summoning them for inquiry. Those summoned are required to appear at the FIA Islamabad office on January 31 at 11 am. Notably, notices have been sent to 65 people accused of spreading false information, and a total of 115 inquiries have been registered across Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and Peshawar. Journalists and social media activists have been called to FIA offices in different cities, with notices issued under Section 160.
