KARACHI: Asifa Bhutto, daughter of PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari, expressed confidence that the PPP will emerge victorious in the upcoming general elections on February 8.
She declared that Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is poised to become the Prime Minister, asserting that the PPP and the people collectively shape Pakistan’s destiny.
In a press release from Bilawal House, Asifa Bhutto Zardari visited the Lyari area of Karachi as part of the People’s Party’s nationwide election campaign. During her addresses at various locations in Lyari, she emphasized that the People’s Party stands out as the only political entity presenting a manifesto that prioritizes the welfare of the poor and the general populace.
Asifa Bhutto Zardari pledged to eliminate poverty, establish a government for the people, and uplift the prosperity of Pakistan’s citizens and underprivileged workers. Highlighting the party’s accomplishments, she mentioned the provision of quality healthcare and free education. She also announced the initiation of the “Benazir Mazdoor Card” in Sindh, with plans to extend it to other provinces. Additionally, she highlighted initiatives such as the People’s Bus Service and Green Bus Line Bus Service for Karachi residents.
As part of their vision for the future, Asifa Bhutto Zardari outlined plans for supplying 300 units of free electricity through solar energy parks. She urged the public to vote wisely and support Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari by choosing the arrow symbol to make him the Prime Minister.
