
ISLAMABAD: The Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS) has secured savings totaling Rs 1.515 trillion through the issuance of new bonds.
A CDNS official informed “APP” that as of May 26, the directorate had achieved Rs 1.515 trillion in savings from new bond issuances, which constitutes 85 percent of the overall target for the current fiscal year. The institution has set a savings target of Rs 1.742 trillion for the current financial year.
The official also mentioned that ATM facilities have already been made available to customers, and a savings target of Rs 75 billion under Islamic finance has been established for the current fiscal year.
