A big shock to the British Prime Minister, the Conservatives lost 2 seats in the by-election

A big shock to British Prime Minister Rishi Sonak, the ruling party lost two out of three seats in the by-election. The Conservative Party could not even save the majority of 20,000 seats.

Labor won the Selby and Anstey seat, the Lib Dem won the Somerton and Frome seat. The Conservative Party won only the seat vacated by Boris Johnson’s resignation.
