ISLAMABAD: A committee has been established to devise a final plan for closing Pakistan PWD.
Following the directive of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, a notification has been issued for the creation of a 5-member committee. This committee will be responsible for finalizing the plan for PWD’s closure.
The committee will be chaired by the Federal Minister of Housing. Other members include the Deputy Chairman Planning, Secretary Establishment, and Secretary of the Power Committee, while the Secretary of Housing will act as the committee’s secretary. Within two weeks, the committee will submit the final plan to the Prime Minister and develop an alternative plan for employees, HR, and PWD.
