According to sources, approval to ban PTI will be taken in the federal cabinet meeting. The political situation of the country will also be discussed in the meeting.

Recently, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Ataullah Tarar, while holding a press conference in Islamabad, said that the federal government has decided to ban Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
He had said that Article 6 case should be conducted against former President Arif Alvi, PTI founder Imran Khan and Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri. The reference against the three persons will be sent to the Supreme Court after the approval of the Federal Cabinet. Passports and identity cards will be blocked, a resolution will be passed by the parliament, and the process of action against them will be completed within the framework of the constitution and law.
