PML-N, PPP, and JUI have lodged a writ petition in the Peshawar High Court concerning the failure to swear in elected members on certain seats in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The petition, submitted on behalf of those elected to particular seats, asserts the necessity of administering the oath to enable their participation in Senate elections. The petitioners highlight that the Peshawar High Court has already ruled on these seats, with the Election Commission issuing notifications confirming the elected members.
They urge for the oath-taking process to proceed promptly, emphasizing that any delay could warrant postponement of the Senate elections.
