An application has been submitted to the Islamabad High Court, seeking the transfer of Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan from Attock Jail to Adiala Jail.
The petition was filed by Imran Khan’s lawyer, who argued that it is the fundamental right of the PTI Chairman to meet with his legal team and family.
The application requests that Imran Khan be moved to Adiala Jail, where A-class facilities are available, and also asks for permission to allow his family, lawyers, and Dr. Sultan to visit him. This move comes after Imran Khan’s recent sentencing of three years in prison and a fine of one lakh rupees in the Tosha Khana case. He was arrested from his residence in Zaman Park, Lahore, and taken to Attock Jail. On his first day in jail, Imran Khan spent most of his time studying.
