A 20% rise in the country’s yearly revenue has been documented in Islamabad.
As per data, the total internal revenue for the fiscal year 2023 reached 9.634 trillion rupees, marking a 20% increase compared to fiscal year 2022. In a separate development, cement prices in the nation have seen an uptick over the past week.
According to statistics, the average retail price of cement per sack in the northern regions of the country reached Rs 1181 in the week ending August 24, reflecting a 1.88% rise from the previous week.
The mean retail price per cement sack was noted as Rs 1166 in Islamabad, Rs 1169 in Rawalpindi, Rs 1190 in Gujranwala, Rs 1180 in Sialkot, Rs 1216 in Lahore, Rs 1150 in Faisalabad, Rs 1165 in Sargodha, Rs 1187 in Multan, Rs 1200 in Bahawalpur, Rs 1200 in Peshawar, and Rs 1170 in Bannu.
In addition, crude oil imports in the country have demonstrated a decline on both a monthly and yearly basis in July.
According to reports from the OAC and industry data, crude oil imports in July stood at 5,060,000 tonnes, marking a 32% decrease from June.
Furthermore, the export volume of netwares in July reached 365 million dollars, showing a 16% decrease compared to the same period last year.
