In Rawalpindi, an incident occurred involving the abduction of Rahim Yar Khan, an active member of the Pakistan Navy, and his father, while they were attempting to purchase an affordable tractor.
As reported by the police, Rahim Yar Khan, hailing from the Jawa region of Rawalpindi, had his brother file a kidnapping for ransom case. The alleged kidnapper in this case is Yasir Raza, who is also a serving employee of the Pakistan Navy. The motive for their travel to Rahim Yar Khan was to buy a tractor after seeing an advertisement for one on Facebook. According to the complainant, both their contact numbers were blocked after they initially got in touch. Subsequently, they reached out to the phone number provided in the Facebook ad, only to realize they had fallen victim to abduction.
The father and son who were kidnapped had brought along 11.5 lakh rupees for the tractor purchase. The accused individuals also demanded additional money for their release. According to the case details, the abduction took place on September 8, one day after the father and son arrived in Sadiqabad Rahimyar Khan on September 7.
