Rawalpindi: The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, Services Chiefs, and Armed Forces of Pakistan have expressed their solidarity with the Kashmiri people on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day. They stated that Indian actions pose a permanent threat to regional security.
According to the Pakistan Army’s Public Relations Department (ISPR), the armed forces stand with the brave people of Occupied Kashmir in their just struggle for the right to self-determination, as per the United Nations resolutions.
The ongoing inhumane military lockdown by India in the occupied valley, along with its tactics to alter the population ratio in the region, constitutes a clear violation of international laws. The Indian government’s actions have led to serious and systematic human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
ISPR emphasized that these actions by India pose a lasting threat to regional security. To achieve lasting peace and stability in the region, resolving the Kashmir conflict in line with the United Nations resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people has become imperative.
The Pakistan Army spokesperson paid tribute to the martyrs for their sacrifices and reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for the political, moral, and humanitarian grounds to the Kashmiri people’s unprecedented struggle against oppression and illegal occupation.
