Google, the technology giant, has recently implemented a new policy addressing reviews generated by artificial intelligence, categorizing them as spam and disallowing their presence on its platforms.
Users are urged to report such content by marking it as spam using the designated “is_spam” feature. In line with the new guidelines on automated content, Google strictly prohibits reviews produced by automated programs or AI.
To maintain a positive environment for critical reviews, the policy also prohibits abusive, vulgar, or offensive language. This restriction encompasses various types of comments, including verified reviews, paid endorsements, and those authored by employees or any other entities.
