Washington: The US has expressed regret over the attacks on oil and gas installations in Pakistan.
US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said in a press briefing that it is regrettable that 4 government officials and 2 civilians were killed in attacks on oil and gas facilities in Pakistan.
Condolences to the affected families. The spokesperson of the Department of Foreign Affairs further said that the situation in Pakistan is being reviewed.
It has been made clear before that there is no position on any political candidate or party. America is a supporter of freedom of expression, implementation of democratic values and rule of law throughout the world including Pakistan. The law should apply to all.
