Washington: The United States says that it remains committed to dealing with terrorist groups in the region with Pakistan.
The spokesperson of the US State Department, Matthew Miller, said during the press briefing that he believes that Pakistan has taken many measures to counter terrorism, but we want Pakistan to continue to take measures to ensure the ban on all terrorist groups.
Matthew Miller said that the people of Pakistan have been deeply affected by terrorism for many years, and are in constant contact with the Pakistani authorities as part of the 2023 Counter-Terrorism Dialogue.
He said that India and Pakistan should continue the ceasefire on the Line of Control (LoC). He further said that he will continue to raise the issue of safeguards on human rights violations in India, President Joe Biden also raised this issue in his press conference.
