
Lahore: PTI has decided to investigate the role of its members in the Senate regarding the passage of the Army Act. The core committee meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf was held under the chairmanship of the party chairman, in which the overall political situation of the country, preparations for the upcoming elections at the party level and political strategy were discussed in detail.
In the meeting, the role of Tehreek-e-Insaf members in the process of approving the Army Act in the Upper House was thoroughly reviewed. On this occasion, an official investigation into the role of Tehreek-e-Insaf members regarding the approval of the amendments in the Army Act was approved by the Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
According to the statement released by the PTI Central Media Department, a one-member commission comprising Senator Shibli Faraz will conduct a comprehensive investigation into the matter.
A one-member commission consisting of Senator Shibli Faraz will complete the investigation without delay and submit it to the Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf, after which disciplinary action will be taken against those guilty of deviating from the party policy in the light of the commission’s recommendations.
